Trane COM11223 Compressor is a heavy-duty beast that is used for commercial and industrial use building cooling mechanism that uses R-22 refrigerant. This Trane compressor does not use the piston mechanism of operation but rather a scroll one different from other regular piston compressors. In the sealed housing, a fixed and an orbiting scroll compress refrigerant gas to high pressure. This 6.75-ton capacity compressor provides high cooling capacity for tough applications in environments as low as 45°F. Refrigerant circulation is made secure through the use of brazed stub tubes.
