Sporlan Controls 168881 5/8 Inch X7/8 Inch Odf R410A 15Ton Thermal Expansion Valve(Txv)

The Sporlan Controls 168881 Thermal Expansion Valve is used to control the flow of refrigerant into the evaporator in HVAC systems. It operates by using a temperature-sensing bulb and internal diaphragm to adjust the opening of the valve depending on evaporator superheat and to regulate the flow of R410A refrigerant in systems 15-ton capacity with 5/8" inlet and 7/8" outlet ODF connections in operation in air conditioning and packaged HVAC systems. The valve is fitted in the liquid line before the evaporator, where piping connections are made with the refrigeration circuit.
