Sporlan Controls 168789 4-Ton Thermal Expansion Valve R410A 3/8" X 1/2" ODF

The Sporlan Controls 168789 Thermal expansion valve has a capacity of 4 tons the refrigerant type used is R410A common in air conditioning and refrigeration applications. TXVs control the amount of refrigerant that enters the evaporator to enable cooling. The outlet and inlet sizes are 3/8 inch and ½ inch respectively with an outside diameter flange for convenience. This is done through the detection of its temperature and pressure to determine that which is within the evaporator. When the evaporator is cold, the TXV opens to admit more refrigerant to maintain the desired temperature. If the evaporator gets warm the TXV will reduce the flow of the liquid to avoid over-cooling and formation of the potential.
