The Sporlan Controls 168170 Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) is suitable for R-404A/R-507 refrigerants used in HVAC systems as air conditioning units, heat pump systems, and refrigeration systems. Equipped with 3/8” x 1/2” ODF connections, this TXV accurately controls the amount of refrigerant entering the evaporator coil.They control the flow of refrigerant comparing the pressure and temperature of the evaporator.
