Lennox 99J38 Electric Heating Element 460V 15KW

The Lennox 99J38 15 kW electric heating element is rated for commercial and industrial HVAC heating element usage. It contains resistance heating and therefore converts electrical energy into heat. A sample of the element was heated by resistance in a nichrome wire when electrical current passed through it. Depending on specific application the heat is desired, then transferred to surrounding air through convection, radiation or conduction. It may be the sole source of heating for fresh air introduced into the system.
