The Trane MOT6800 is a heavy duty workhorse motor suitable for use in many HVACs and works hard. This is a squirrel cage design of this 1.5 horsepower electric motor. This design strikes a balance between efficiency, reliability and starting power. Its motor can operate on either 200-230 volts or 460 volts allowing flexibility in electrical configurations. Featuring a ball bearing design, the MOT6800 is both smooth and quiet with low friction. It has a speed of 1140 RPM and can be mounted vertically in an HVAC system.
