The Danfoss 068U1839 Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) is a highly accurate device which controls the amount of liquid refrigerant in HVAC systems. This valve is especially made from stainless steel and has a special angle of 1/4” X 3/8”. Its 59-inch long capillary tube ensures that control can be made with a lot of precision. It uses R134 refrigerant and comes with a bi-metal construction that comprises steel and copper for reliability. This TXV is necessary to meter the refrigerant flow into the evaporator coil and to coordinate the refrigerant flow with cooling requirement of the system.
