Lennox 14D89 Fan Switch

The Lennox 14D89 Low Ambient Kit is a fan switch used in Lennox brand HVAC systems. It works by controlling the fan operation in cold weather conditions a voltage of 208/230V and a frequency of 60 Hz. In colder climates, proper airflow and system performance should be maintained by cycling the outdoor fan while permitting compressor operation during the cooling cycle. This eliminates icing of the evaporator coil as well as loss of capacity to maintain comfort within the systems indoor operating envelope as well as improved efficiency at low ambient conditions
