Trane SWT1258 Auto Limit Switch W/3" Insert 140°F-170°F

The Trane SWT1258 Auto reset limit switch used in different HVAC systems. This switch has an insert of 3 inches and works under the temperature range of 140°F to 170°F. When the system temperature rises above the 170°F opening temperature, the switch opens to turn off the equipment to avoid possible harm. When the temperature decreases and is at the 140°F closing temperature, the switch resets permitting the system to continue running. This auto reset mechanism improves safety and reduces the time then machine will spend in the off state. The most areas of application for the SWT1258 include air conditioners, heat pumps, and chillers
