The Century Motors ORM1036 1/3 HP Motor with single phase 1 speed is ideal for use in HVAC systems. It operates at a speed of 1075 RPM and is compatible with electrical supplies of 208-230V. This motor is an electromagnetic one whereby through passing of an electric current through the winding produces a magnetic field. This one gets in contact with the field of the rotor and therefore rotates. This type of motion is then transferred to the connected HVAC equipment for example fans, blowers, and pumps for the generation of airflow as well as heat transfer.
