Trane SWT2515 SPST Pressure Switch 1.36" WC

The Trane SWT2515 is a pressure switch. It is a 3" long, single pole easy on/off control. This normally set to a 1.36"WC level air pressure valve checks the furnace or air handler air pressure. In the case that the pressure deviates from this pre programmed amount, the switch turns on an electrical reaction. Typically, a pressure drop means an obstruction in the flue or that the airflow isn't right, while an excessive pressure is an indication of a clogged filter or a broken blower motor. The Trane SWT2515 ensures that your HVAC system is protected from harm and will continue to operate safely, by using it to automatically shut off the system if abnormal pressure is detected.
