The Liebert 130992P2S Thermostatic Expansion Valve (TXV) is used in vapor compression refrigeration and air conditioning systems. This valve has size of 5/8” x 1-1/8” x 1/4” and a capillary length of 60 inches; it is used to control the flow of refrigerant into the evaporator coil for proper system operation. It ensures that the refrigerant vapor is always at a constant superheat level at the outlet to avoid the return of the liquid refrigerant to the compressor which is hazardous.
