The Trane VAL4911 is a 7.5-tone commercial refrigeration and air conditioning system with a thermostatic expansion valve and R-22 refrigerant. The refrigerant flow is regulated by a TXV. The 60" capillary tube senses the evaporator's temperature and sends this information to the thermal actuator, which changes the valve opening. The Trane TXV is ideal for applications up to 8 tons at 450 PSI max pressure and 300°F max temperature and for applications up to 8 tons at 450 PSI max pressure and 300°F max temperature.
