Honeywell V4943B1027 Diaphragm Gas Valve is a 1-1/4 “slow-opening well suitable for application in residential and light commercial heating and cooling systems. It has a slow-open time of between 6-25 seconds to allow a safe ignition sequence of the gas appliances. This equipment requires a 120V AC power supply and it can regulate up to 3”-4.5” WC of gas pressure. It has a diaphragm actuator that acts in response to electrical signals to open and close the flow of the gas into the burner. This controlled gas flow reduces the possibility of flashback and enhances combustion efficiency is mostly applied with gas furnaces, boilers, and other related gas-fired equipment.
