Lennox 56W61 Furnace Hot Surface Ignitor 120V

The Lennox 56W61 is a hot surface ignitor; a device found in Lennox gas furnaces that is used to ignite the gas burner during the heating cycle. When the furnace control board calls for heat, the ignitor turns red hot because electricity is flowing through it. This red-hot igniter then ignites the gas burner thereby beginning the heating process in home. This is a Lennox furnaces replacement ignitor that is 9.25 Inches in length, 2 Inches broad and 1.75 Inches high. It is powered by standard 120-volt household current. A faulty hot surface ignitor can be removed and a new Lennox is installed to guarantee efficient furnace function and to maintain warm temperatures in house.
