The Rheem-Ruud 470015 CO Auto Limit Switch is CO(Check) safety component used to protect HVAC equipments from over heating. This is actually a small and yellow limine switch with a normally close contacts as shown in the figure As this system is with a normally close arrangement, it will break the circuit when the temperature is too high. After identifying the limit switch, which is meant for flanged airstream connection, it trips out at 100, and then resets when the temperature is below 120°F. Its enclosed disc face enhances durability and reliability no matter the operating conditions that the device is exposed to. This limit switch enhances the effectiveness of this system and makes the chances of your HVAC unit by reducing the chances of your equipment getting damaged by heat.
