The Nidec-Secop 117U4129 Starting Relay is an electromechanical control element, which is applied to air conditioning and heat pump HVAC systems to allow start of compressor motors. It is made up of a starting relay and a thermal-protected Klaxon switch to momentarily connect the start winding of the compressor to 115V, and then to disconnect it when the motor has attained operating speed. It is fitted in the electrical compartment of the outdoor unit, where it is connected to the compressor terminals using specified spade or lead connections.
