The Nidec-Secop 117U4127 Relay/Overload Combo is a package of an integrated compressor starting and protection component in air conditioning and heat pump HVAC systems. It is a fusion of a start relay which activates the start winding of the compressor, and an overload protector, which breaks the power supply in case the current or temperature surpasses safe limits. It is installed in the electrical compartment of the outside unit and is connected to the compressor terminals which assists in ensuring a stable start of the motor and prevents electrical and thermal overloads.
