International Comfort Products 1177214 Rollout Switch

The International Comfort Products 1177214 Rollout Switch provides safety interruption when excessive temperature develops near the combustion area. Its heat-responsive mechanism detects abnormal thermal conditions and changes electrical contact status, signaling the connected control circuit to stop fuel-related operation. Positioned near the burner compartment, it monitors localized conditions that may indicate improper flame movement, restricted exhaust, or abnormal combustion in HVAC systems. The switch remains part of the safety circuit until conditions are evaluated and the control sequence permits further operation. Fast thermal response can limit overheating exposure, protect surrounding hardware, and maintain controlled shutdown during unsafe conditions.
