The Carrier HC43AE117 is a permanent split capacitor blower motor for residential as well as light commercial applications such as furnaces & air handlers. It operates by moving electrical energy into the mechanical energy required to turn a fan blade, through which it distributes air in HVAC. This air circulation is essentialin circulating the conditioned air whether hot or cold in the home. It uses a standard household voltage of 115 volts and has a maximum power of 1/2 HP. The motor rotates in the clockwise and anti-clockwise direction but at a rate of 1075 RPM to promote air circulation across the HVAC system.
