The Xylem-Bell & Gossett 115119 Suction Diffuser Plus is a versatile fitting that is mounted on the suction side of the pump and is used to condition the incoming fluid in the HVAC systems. It is a compact unit that used as both a strainer and a flow-straightening elbow. The integrated stainless steel strainer ensures that any solid particles are filtered out from the fluid and prevent the pump from being damaged. The flow-straightening vanes control the fluid smoothly getting in the pump impeller and reducing turbulence and uneven velocity. This ensures the hydraulic performance is the better and energy used is also the least.
