The Xylem-Bell & Gossett 113222 Automatic Air Vent Model 97 is a pressure-responsive fluid system component that is utilized to eliminate trapped air in liquid lines and heat transfer loops. It has 1/8 inch NPT connections, 150 psi pressure rating and 240°C temperature rating, which enables it to be used safely in hot water piping in boilers, chillers, and hydronic HVAC systems. The vent is fitted on a high point and connected to the system piping such that the air gathers at the float chamber of the vent.
