The Lennox 10W05 Limit Switch is a safety component that is required on all Lennox HVAC equipment including furnaces and air handlers. It works like a switch that turns off the operation of the machine, just like a temperature switch. When the temperature inside the unit rises to a certain point, normally 150°F, the switch opens the circuit. The L150°F-20°F Limit Switch saves and prolongs the life of your HVAC system by shutting down the heating element at dangerous temperatures.
