The MAMAC Systems TE-702-B-7-B Duct Sensor SS 6-inch Probe 10K Ohm is implemented to measure temperatures in HVAC systems. The air in the ductwork provides correct resistance-based signals to the control system. It works by subjecting the stainless steel probe to the airstream, which in turn detects the temperature changes and sends the respective information to the system to make adjustments. The sensor is to be mounted in the duct and hooked to the controller or thermostat wiring.
