Lennox 33J84 100-190F Auto Limit Switch

The Lennox 33J84 Auto Limit Switch is a safety device designed for use in HVAC systems, particularly furnaces. This switch controls and constantly checks the temperature of the heating unit to prevent the temperature from rising above 100-190ªF. When the temperature goes beyond the set limit the switch opens the electrical circuit and thereby turns off the equipment to avoid overheating and consequent damage. When the temperature reaches a safe level, the switch turns off and when it is safe to do so, the switch turns on and allows normal functioning to occur. The Auto Limit Switch enhances the survivability of the HVAC equipment and the durability of the furnace which reduces the possibility of the equipment’s breakdown and overheating.
