The Copeland's 912-0001-12 Auxiliary Contact Kit as it enhances electrical control system performance and reliability. Used with various HVAC units, it consists of one normally open auxiliary contact and one normally closed auxiliary contact by the side. This Auxiliary Contact Kit became more useful by supplying extra electrical contacts to the HVAC systems’ main contactor or starter relay. These connections are triggered whenever the main contacts are closed; thus allowing regulation of auxiliary circuits and devices. The NO contact generally closes when the main contactor is activated, but the NC contact closes when the main contactor is turned off, allowing for additional control logic flexibility.
