Trane VAL8030 Expansion Valve 1 1/8X1 5/8

The Trane VAL8030 EEV is an essentialpart of Trane HVAC systems that use R-22 refrigerant. The 12.5" long device is a critical part of this device that helps to precisely regulate refrigerant flow through the system. The VAL8030 differs from traditional TXVs, which are solely pressure controlled, in that it uses an electronic signal to drive a stepper motor in the valve. This motor precisely positions a valve needle to adjust the flow of refrigerant in response to the real time cooling demand of the system. The evaporator coil temperature is sensed by the 60" capillary tube and signals are sent to the electronic actuator for optimal refrigerant control.
