The Trane VAL8391 is a reversing valve that is used in HVAC systems. It has the most essentialfunction in heat pumps, it regulates the flow of the refrigerant. This enables the system to from a heating mode to a cooling mode. The valve is 1 1/8” and the outside diameter flange is 1 3/8”. It is applicable for systems with a cooling capacity of up to 10 tons. The figure 24V electrical voltage that is needed to power the valve. This makes it possible to use the system to either warm or cool your space depending on the required temperatures.
