The Danfoss 068U2031 is a high quality thermal expansion valve that controls the refrigerant flow in the refrigeration system.The valve contains R134a refrigerant and has 1/2” outlet and 1/4” inlet capacity. This particular stainless steel part is better used at an optimal temperature of -40°F to 50°F. To maintain maximum system efficiency, a TXV is needed. That is because it measures the temperature of the evaporator outlet and adjusts the refrigerant flow rate.
