The Emerson Flow Control (Alco) 059130 Power Assembly is an internal part of certain models of Alco Thermal Expansion Valves (TXVs) intended for use with R-404A refrigerant. This power assembly has a 5-foot capillary tube that provides the energy necessary to operate the internal mechanisms of the TXV. It efficiently transverses electrical or other forms of energy into mechanical movement and allows the TXV to regulate the flow of refrigerant into the evaporator accurately. The power assembly plays a role in improving the flow of refrigerant hence improving the efficiency of the systems, reducing energy consumption, and thereby improving the performance of HVAC systems.
