The Emerson Flow Control (Alco) 057432 Power Element Assembly is an internal part of some models of Alco Thermal Expansion Valves (TXVs) used in R-12 refrigerant. This power element assembly with SAE 1/4” connection is the driving force of the TXV’s internal working. It can transform electrical or another type of energy into mechanical energy to help the TXV to regulate the amount of refrigerant that enters the evaporator. Through proper flow control of the refrigerant, the power element assembly play an essential role in enhancing the efficiency, energy utilization, and general performance of HVAC systems.
