The Emerson Flow Control (Alco) 047614 Liquid Line Filter Drier is a refrigeration circuit breaker used in HVAC systems to eliminate moisture, acids and other particle pollutants in the fluid. It is an expansion component installed in the liquid line between condenser & expansion equipment. It contains a desiccant and filtering media that traps foreign substances as the refrigerant passes through the 3/8'' outside diameter fitting. This filter drier operates to ensure clean refrigerant, guard expansion valves, compressors and facilitate constant cooling.
