The Emerson Flow Control (Alco) 043734 5/8 Bi-Directional Flow Drier BFK-165S is a high-performance desiccant dryer that is used for removing the moisture content in refrigeration and air conditioning systems. This bi-directional dryer enables moisture to be picked up in both directions of air flow reducing pressure drop and enhancing the drying efficiency. The BFK-165S uses a large desiccant bed to remove moisture from the refrigerant or air stream to prevent ice formation and acid formation on the system components and decrease efficiency.
