The Emerson Flow Control (Alco) 043333 Bi-Flow Drier, model BFK-163S, is a high-performance liquid line filter drier developed for heat pump systems. This bi-directional filter drier has a 3/8” ODF connection size, which efficiently eliminates moisture and contamination in the refrigerants for the efficiency and durability of the system. This is constructed of a solid core and has a desiccant mix of 75% molecular sieve and 25% activated alumina for enhanced moisture adsorption. This product is suitable for use with different types of refrigerants such as the CFC, HCFC, and the HFC types hence suitable for use in different HVAC systems.
