York 024-42455-000 3-Pole Contactor 120V/12A Coil

The York 024-42455-000 contactor is an essentialpart of HVAC systems which is used to effectively and safely switch the electrical power for essentialparts. When it is 3-pole contactor with 12A and 120V AC coil, it is actually the high power electrical switch that can handle the high current necessary for HVAC loads. When energized with 120 volts this coil develops a magnetic field which pulls movable contacts to make a complete electrical contact. Moreover when the coil is de-energized the circuit breaker operating contacts open thus interrupting the supply circuit. This on/off mechanism allows contactor to govern the function of the compressor, the fan, and other essentialcomponent of the HVAC system.
