Trane CNT2858 Low Pressure Switch 1/4" Open 7 PSI Close 22 PSI

The Trane CNT2858 is a Low-Pressure Switch that is used in HVAC systems to control or gauge the refrigerant pressure. It is fitted on the refrigerant line and acts as a protective device for the compressor. A switch is provided and when the pressure drops below a set pressure of 7 PSI, the switch goes off and breaks the circuit, stopping the compressor helps avoid cases of low-pressure situations. On the other hand, when the pressure increases more than that specific level of 22 PSI, the switch turns on to turn the working of the compressor on again. That has an IP65 water-tight enclosure and blue electrical leads as a safety component for different HVAC equipment.
