The Honeywell AMX300TLF Direct Connect Water Heater Kit is a better part that is used to improve the safety and performance of water heaters. It has a 3/4” thermostatic mixing valve ASSE 1017 and a 3/4” cold water inlet that mixes hot and cold water to produce a safe and constant temperature of water. This is a replacement kit for use in residential HVAC systems and tank-type water heaters to reduce the risk of scalding and at the same time, promote efficient use of hot water.
