The Honeywell V5097A1004 Small Body, low pressure on/off valve for use in HVAC systems. This valve controls the flow of refrigerant in refrigeration and air conditioning applications. It works by opening and closing a valve port with a solenoid, allowing, or restricting, the flow of refrigerant as required. The refrigerant then flows through when the valve is open after the solenoid has been energized. When de-energized the valve closes to stop the refrigerant flow.
