The MOT19037 is a single phase, four speed electric motor that is ideal to be used in HVAC equipment. In layman’s terms, it is a subassembly that provides the energy that runs other subassemblies within an HVAC system. With electrical energy, the motor turns that energy into rotation which inturn rotates the fans or blowers. These fans and blowers help move air through the HVAC system, and finally, condition the air that gets into your house or office. The Trane runs at a standard voltage of 265 volts and provides a third horsepower (1/3HP) of the output power. Therefore it is suitable for doing tasks that need moderate power.
