Carrier HD44AR122 ECM Blower Motor

The Carrier HD44AR122 ECM Blower Motor is an ECM that is used in forced air HVAC systems. ECM motors are different from other AC motors that have a fixed speed, in that they use permanent magnets and variable frequency control. In operation, the motor's internal electronics get signals from the HVAC system control board. These signals determine the fan speed that is required. With the help of the control of the power supplied to the motor, the ECM can easily control the rate of rotation to be able to meet such requirements.
